About Raven's Rock Studios...

My name is Jerry Macdonell, I am a self-taught artist out of Vestal, New York. Self-taught mainly out of necessity as life and timing in general have not yet allowed me the chance to go to school for formal teaching. Instead I use the wisdom of years to listen to those who's experience validates their worth and to keep my eyes open for those visual wonders in the world that go beyond the average.

I pursue creative contemplations in the mediums of ink, acrylics, oils, photography and digital design (both bitmap works as well as pure 3D modeling). I have also worked with stop-motion animation and 3D animation. These efforts have developed into my stylings over the last twelve years. I am seeking a blend of mediums that bring a new level of thought forward through the use of the visual communication of art. Our passions in life should not be ignored, they should be pursued with all of the energy that life can muster.

My long term goal is to create an open forum of artists where multiple styles can freely come together to complete projects utilizing each others strengths for mutual benefit.
